The Academy of Science is offering an upcoming class in September 2018 called "Electronics Technician." If you find the latest electronic gadgets, such as robotics, radio, TV, laser beams, and studies such as physics, electrical engineering and communications fascinating, then you might be interested in pursuing this class. This class might be the gateway to following a path of higher education in electronics and physics and pursuing a career in this field.
This coming school year 2018-2019 I will be teaching electronics which is a fun filled class in which we delve into a lot of amazing things about electricity, physics, lasers, how radios and TVs work. We will be doing a lot of hands on projects. They will learn soldering and how to build various electronic projects as well. Electricity is a very mysterious phenomenon and this is where all the jobs are going into the future. I will be doing a lot of amazing electrical and physics demonstrations as well.

Classes start September 4, 2018 through May 21 2019
Length: Class sessions will last one hour.
First Session: Begins at 8:30 a.m. every Tuesday is for ages 9 (9 year olds as long as they can read well and know their basic math) through age 15.
Maximum: Twelve students per class. We are now full, I can put you on a waiting list if anyone drops out.
Cost of class: $45.00 a month. Payments are due by the 13th of each month. Late payments $10.00 late fee. If you prefer to pay for the class in full rather than making monthly payments, the total cost is $360.00 for the nine month course (a discount of $45.00 which is one free month).
If you decide to pay monthly the total cost would be $405.00 for the 9 months
You will receive a discount of $45.00 (one free month) if you pay in full for the nine month course. You would make a one-time payment of $360.00.
Please have first payment in by August 15th to reserve your place. However I would not wait too long!!! It is first come first serve. You never know when a class is going to fill up.
