Basic Electronics
The Academy of Science is offering an upcoming class September 2024 through May 2025 called "Electronics Technician." If you find robotics, electrical engineering, communications, radio, TV, remote control, laser beams, fascinating, then you might be interested in pursuing this class. This class might be the gateway to following a path of higher education in electronics, physics and pursuing a career in this field.
The field of electronics is one of the most diverse and practical scientific fields to
study.
There will be numerous hands on projects for the students throughout the course such as building a radio transmitter, circuits, and more. They will also learn the basics in repair of LCD & LED TVs. Upon graduation from this class, the student will have a basic understanding of how electricity and communications (radios, TVs, transmitters, and receivers) properly work. The student will also understand electrical circuits and soldering.
Students will learn a lot of hands on math.
Electronics Technicians are hired by the NSA, CIA, corporations and other high up businesses. You can even start your own business.
I will also be performing various science demonstrations throughout the course.
We use all the latest in applied science and equipment and keep students up to date in technology.
We are a private school that teaches science from a higher academic perspective than government schools and fills in all the gaps that are unfortunately created by a secular education.
This is not only a class in electronics but is a beginner course in physics.
We love teaching students and preparing them for their future.
We take education very seriously and take great pleasure that in our private institution of higher scientific learning to prepare students for their future.

Classes start September 3rd, 2024 at 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM every Tuesday. There will be about 4 two hour classes.
Ages 10-16 The classes are in West Richland WA. Those who sign up and pay their dues I will disclose the class address. Everyone attending class has to sign a "waiver of liability." There will be a parent teacher meeting one week before class starts August 27, 2024 Last day of class May 20, 2025 |
