Geology and Earth History

The Academy of Science is offering an upcoming class in September 2025 -2026 called "Geology and Earth History."  If you like studying the earth and digging neat rocks, fossils, exploring caves, canyons, and panning for gold, and going on exciting field trips, then you might be interested in pursuing this class.  This class might be the gateway to following a path of higher education in geology and paleontology and pursuing a career in these fields.

Classes start September 2nd, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM every Tuesday. There will be about 5 two-hour classes.

Ages 10-16

The classes are in West Richland, WA. 
​Those who sign up and pay their dues, I will disclose the class address.

Everyone attending class has to sign a "waiver of liability."

There will be a parent-teacher meeting one week before class starts August 26, 2025

Last day of class, May 19, 2026

I do at least two field trips a year.
1) Blewett Pass trip

2) Gingko trip
